Hi, I'm Xuan.

For all those wondering, it's pronounced like "Schwann" cells (shout-out to all the biology fans out there).

In my transition from front-end developer to experience designer, I've focused on how design-thinking and empathy for the end user can translate to innovation and improvements in the digital space.

I believe that in order to achieve really great design, we must first take the time to understand the experiences, behaviors, and emotions that drive our users.

As a Master's student of HCI at the University of Michigan, I aim to further develop my skills as both a designer and coder. I look for opportunities to grow not only as an experience designer, but also as a creative thinker and an effective communicator.

In my free time, I enjoy baking desserts, checking out the latest graphic novels, occasionally streaming on Twitch, and annoying my corgi.
